Alexander MacSweyn (or MacSween)
(Western District) Born at Lochgilphead, 1803, the son of Neil MacSweyn; arrived in Valladolid from Lismore; left for Scotland, 16th June 1827, and ordained a priest at Lismore; in Strathglass until 1845, when he went to Nova Scotia, dying at Boisdale, Cape Breton Is., 19th July 1870.
